About Me:: “Pretty Flamingo” is the remarkable first novel from author and musician Perry Martin. Set largely in Australia in the late 1960’s it is a dramatic love story, inspired by actual events, that will intrigue and involve you with it’s unforgettable characters. You’ll be taken on an emotional journey with David Perry, the central character, while he unlocks the mystery of a part of his past he never knew existed.

The novel is currently in its final stages of editing and will soon be ready for publishing. It is slated for release in January 2011. Meanwhile, a cross-section of readers of all ages and genders were specially selected and given the second draft of the manuscript to read. Here are some of their comments:
