About Me:

Jeannie Faulkner Barber was born and raised in Marshall, Texas. Writing has been one of two passions, the other being drag racing. She drives her own racecar and met her husband, Monte, at the track.
She is an active member of the East Texas Writers’ Association. She and Monte live in Kilgore, Texas and have three grown sons and nine beautiful grandchildren.
There are two passions in Jeannie’s life: writing and drag racing. She even met her husband, Monte, at the dragstrip and can boast of winning the most trophies and cash at the pulse-pounding sport.
She is a member and officer of the East Texas Writers Association (ETWA), the North East Texas Writers Organization (NETWO), and a 2007, 2011 & 2012 Award Winner of NaNoWriMo.
Taste of Fire is her newest mystery novel. She also wrote Scent of Double Deception with co-author Ann Alan, as well as, Destiny Never Sleeps, Book One: Quest of the Two Queen with Bernadette Thompson Martin.
