About Me:: I grew up in the suburbs of Boston, but went to college in Washington, DC and never looked back. I worked in various career fields, such as aviation, legal administration, and nonprofits, until I finally decided what I wanted to be when I grew up: a writer. I write dog breed books (under the name Cynthia P. Gallagher) and have written two novels: "Far Above Rubies" (Martin & Lawrence Press 2007), based on the inspiring true story of an Auschwitz survivor, and "Remote Control" (Echelon Press, November 2007), a fun, "lit for the thinking chick" novel with a paranormal theme. During the school year, I also tutor for the Writing Center at the U.S. Naval Academy.
