Here is the book trailer I created for my latest novel.  This was my first book trailer and I tried to keep it simple.  Let me know what you think about it.

I am intrigued enough by your description to want to go to Amazon and look for your book, but I would like your trailer a lot better if it included images of things that relate to your book.  Having recently created my own first trailer, I know that's not always an easy task, but I think it's important.  Good luck Toby!

I agree with Peazy.  Even if you just used the other elements on the cover such as the golden electric streams and more of the grid instead of just a hint of it.  Of course, photos can be powerful and you don't always have to use exact images of the contents of the book, but just hints of those elements or close ups.  As always, you need to make sure you have the copyright for those images.  If you took your own photos, that could work and get around the cost of purchasing images.  Using close ups is a great way to add visuals without having to show anything specific.

Thank you both very much for your comments.  I know exactly what you mean.  At the moment time and finances play a big part in my ability to get good images.  Hopefully I'll be able to improve that trailer soon.  Thanks!

Hi Toby...I sure understand that!  Just wanted to add that if you live near a college or high school sometimes art and photography students will create work for you at a huge discount in return for some type of credit.  And the instructor can recommend which of them would be right for the job you require.  They're often very talented.
