The New Boss Is Not The Same As The Old Boss
I have been doing a great deal of pro and con information gathering on the subject of getting a book publisher to do the work for you in exchange for a bigger cash payoff from any book sales while you the author get a mere pat on the head and a check from them for less than what they get to keep.
(Note: This is not a attack on any one book publisher, big or small, just what I have come to accept as a fact based on all of the research that I have been conducting on book publishing with the established book publishers.)
I know the work ahead of me will be hard and filled with small but minor bumps in the road that I will be able to get around, but I am going to move over them as they appear and ... (pause for dramatic effect) self publish.
