About Me:: I live in a small house just at the edge of a wild wood, in a place called Crystal River. It's a magical place...at times overrun by creatures of the forest; the lithe deer, the wily and timid fox, even the occasional wild pig foraging in an abundant glade nearby. It's a place to sit and ponder, interrupted now and then by the cry of an eagle or hawk, the whinny of my beloved horses, the quick, sharp bark of my old watchdog out back.

At other times, it's frightening. Things moving around by themselves, strange, ghostly voices on the other end of the phone line, and other-worldly visitors in the night. And at three am--the dead hour--we are often shocked into wakefulness with no idea how or why.

But above all else, it's a place of family and of love. And it's the inspiration from which the words flow... I adore it here, in my quiet house, in the center of the noisy world. Wouldn't have it any other way.

What do I do? (besides reading, which I do avidly... I may well be Stephen King's biggest fan!) I write. And toward that end, I give you 'Meany', published through Brother Maynard Publishing and available on Amazon. Hint...best read under the covers with a flashlight, and don't forget the tissues! Crystal River def. has it's high points. I have a mini-farm here and taking care of all my animals is very rewarding. Where do you live now?
