About Me:
I am a coach and a business advisor, 30 years in the making. Those thirty years were wonderful and extremely rewarding, but nothing compared to the work I do today as a coach. It is clear that all I experienced led me here to do this work.

At age 50, I had attained a position, stature and a life style that many people would envy. I felt very fortunate, even lucky at times. Like a leaf in a stream, I had been swept into a company that grew from a fledgling $5 million company to a $7 billion Fortune 500 company and the world’s sixth largest technology distributor. I was the President of that distribution business.

Ambitious and driven, but never satisfied, I was never truly fulfilled in my work. I was searching for something, but couldn’t find it. I didn’t even really understand what “it” was.

The answer showed up in early March, 2000. I sat waiting in terminal 3 at Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix for a flight to New York City where I was scheduled to meet with the board of a small, ventured funded wireless company, one of three companies I was talking to at the time. The flight was on ground delay for more than five hours. I had plenty of time to catch up on my reading.

An article I read that day literally changed the course of my life. The article summarized a Fast Company interview of Richard Leider, author of The Power of Purpose. Leider had asked the question “What constitutes a good life, a life well lived?” The answers boiled down to these four basic elements:

1. You’re living in a place where you feel you truly belong.

2. You’re with people you love, and your relationships are strong and working.

3. You’re doing the work you were meant to do…using your talents on something you believe in, in an environment that fits who you are.

4. And you’re doing all of that with intent and on purpose!

It hit me like a thunderbolt. The last 20 years had been both exciting and very rewarding…but not purposeful.

Reading the article, I knew down deep and in my heart that I was about to make a change. I decided that the next 20 years would take a totally new direction. I would do the work I was truly meant to do, and I would do that in the place I loved, Arizona.

This is the work I am meant to do. I work with people who are not satisfied with the status quo; people who know that they have not reached their pinnacle, who have more to give, more to accomplish, more to be…no matter their age, work or station in life.

Some are on the fast track; others have derailed while some find themselves on the wrong track all together.

And I also work with those who are in search of mission and purpose – wanting to discover their strengths and contribute to a cause greater than their own.

Many of my clients find themselves in the middle…in the middle of their life; in the middle of their marriage; in the middle of a business; or in the middle of their career. Some have lost a job, some a loved one. They are in transition, facing an uncharted territory and an unknown future.

I create a unique space for these clients. This space is where people find their true voice and express the best of who they are. The work we do together helps my clients discover deeper meaning, create renewed purpose, and use their lives powerfully.
