Hi! Interacting in the community happens in a lot of ways. You can add people as friends, just like most other communities, blog and comment on blogs. Those who seem the most active usually get featured.
In October there is a big push to get more readers here. There is a mix here, but mostly authors so there will be a big ad campaign on Facebook and other places to let readers know to come here.
You can also RSS in your blog or newsletter feed if you have that.
It has been 5 years since I've been on here. Sorry I wasn't more help for you.
